The Miami Dolphins released wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. on Friday. It has been reported that the release was mutual. Beckham signed a one-year, $3 million deal with the Dolphins in May that was worth up to $8.25 million with incentives. Beckham Jr. underwent knee surgery earlier in the offseason and started the season on the physically unable to perform list. The Dolphins were aware Beckham would likely not be ready for the start of the season when they agreed to the deal. He made his practice debut in the first week of October and played his first game against the New England Patriots in Week 5. In nine games this season, Beckham finished with nine catches for 55 yards. Miami heads to Houston this weekend for a critical Week 15 matchup against the Texans.
