The Dallas Cowboys have been searching for another receiver to go along with CeeDee Lamb. The wait is over after the team traded for an upgrade at the position. George Pickens has been traded from the Pittsburgh Steelers to the Dallas Cowboys. Dallas will receive George Pickens and a 2027 sixth-round pick for a 2026 third-round and 2027 fifth-round picks.

Pickens, a second-round pick of the Steelers in 2022, is entering the final year of his rookie contract. The Cowboys do not plan to extend Pickens’ contract and will let him play out the final year. This comes after the Steelers traded for D.K. Metcalf and signed him to a huge extension. The Steelers are also awaiting an answer from quarterback Aaron Rodgers about whether he will play in 2025. Dallas will see the return of Dak Prescott after missing the final nine games with a hamstring avulsion. Pickens had 59 catches for 900 yards and three touchdowns last season. He posted at least 50 receptions, 800 yards and three touchdowns in each of his three seasons with the Steelers.

What do you think about George Pickens being traded to the Dallas? How good will the Cowboys be this upcoming season? Leave some feedback below regarding the trade.
